Dr Laura Martinez qualified at the University of Seville in 2006. After moving to the U.K. she began working in a private practice in Lichfield as a general dentist. After a year and a half she temporarily moved back to Seville to complete her 3 year postgraduate MSc in Dental Implants and PhD.

In the meantime, she worked in a private Hospital in Jerez, Spain where she was head of the department for odontophobic patients and patients with special needs who required treatment with general anaesthetic and sedation. Laura then finished her Implantology postgraduate and PhD with honours. On return to the UK she worked in different mixed dental practices in Hampshire and Shropshire where she became the referral Implantologist for a large dental corporate.

Additionally, Laura has completed research on dental implant surfaces, dry sockets and oral surgery that has been published in national and international congresses. Laura is a very enthusiastic and meticulous dentist, who loves her career especially dental implants and oral surgery. She believes that every patient is important and unique, this is reflected in the time and care that she spends with them.Out of work, she loves travelling, reading, gardening and socialising with friends.
